Community Tree Planting

Get outside and plant native trees and shrubs in King City! Together we can help protect and enhance the natural environment.

Registration is required for this event; walk-ins will not be accepted.

  • Age Range: Family friendly (recommended for children ages 8 and up)
  • Meeting Place: South end of the park, look for the white event tent. VIEW MAP.
  • Parking: Street parking is available on Terry View Drive.

How to prepare for the event:

  • What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes (hiking boots best), tall socks (that your pants can be tucked into), face mask, hat and sunscreen
  • What to bring: Rain protection, reusable water bottle (water refills will be available), snacks, gardening gloves if you have them.
  • What will be provided: Shovels and other equipment, gardening gloves, water refill

Cancellation Policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
