Community Tree Planting

*Walk-ups will be allowed on the day of the event. Registration can be done on site

Get outside and plant native trees and shrubs in King City! Together we can help protect and enhance the natural environment.

  • Age Range:
    Family Friendly (recommended for children ages 8 and up)
  • Meeting Place:
    South end of the park, look for the white event tent (click here for the map).
  • Parking:
    Street parking is available on Terry View Drive.

Registration is required for this event, walk-ins will not be accepted.

How to prepare for the event:

  • What to wear:
    Long pants, closed-toed shoes (hiking boots best), tall socks (that your pants can be tucked into), face mask, hat and sunscreen.
  • What to bring:
    Rain protection, reusable water bottle (water refills will be available), snacks, gardening gloves if you have them.
  • What will be provided:
    Shovels and other equipment, gardening gloves, water refill.

Cancellation policy:
The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 8:00am on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
