Find out how air-source heat pumps can lower your carbon footprint as well as your home heating and cooling bills.
The air-source heat pump is a relatively new technology for home heating and cooling that’s becoming more and more popular. We are excited to invite you to join us for a free and interactive workshop led by Gil Amdurski from the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). In this workshop, Gil teaches us about air-source heat pump (ASHP) retrofits in existing homes, with an emphasis on hybrid heating systems that couple a low-cost ASHP with a high-efficiency natural gas furnace.
You’ll learn about the upfront costs, utility bill impacts, and carbon savings from three hybrid heating systems recently installed in the Greater Toronto Area — and overall about how to achieve deep carbon savings for your home at the lowest possible cost.
