Learn to Fish
By Jasmine Thompson

The Learn to Fish program is a hands-on program that teaches new anglers how to fish in Ontario. This is a great opportunity to learn everything you need to know to have a safe and fun fishing experience. Over two hours you will learn about fishing in Ontario, and you might even catch one yourself! The program will help you get started; whether you want to take up a new hobby or help your children or grandchildren catch their first fish, you can make new memories and enjoy nature. Equipment is provided, and the cost to participate in the program is free.

Meeting Location: The Nature Centre at Tommy Thompson Park. Parking is available at the entrance to Tommy Thompson Park. The Nature Centre is less than a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the park.

Sessions run rain or shine, however they are subject to cancellation. Maximum participation per session is 30 people. Recommended age for participation is 6 years+. TRCA is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accommodation, please email Jasmine at at least 7 days prior to the event.
