Nature in Your Classroom – Pollinator Pals
By Raja Raudsepp

Bring us into your classroom - virtually!
Our Watershed on Wheels educators are live on YouTube with curriculum-connected lessons about the natural world!

As you tune in along with other classes across the GTA, you and your students can ask questions in real-time during the livestream lesson. A YouTube account is required in order to include your questions in the livestream chat. While content will be geared to grades 1-3, everyone is welcome to join!

Summer’s just around the corner and we want to get students excited to explore the natural world of the GTA. Join us on June 15th to search for insects and other pollinators in The Meadoway! Will we find bees and butterflies? Beetles and moths? We’ll even share tips so your students can embark on a pollinator pal pursuit of their own!

This is our last Nature in Your Classroom livestream before the summer break and we can’t wait to celebrate nature with you!

If you are interested in receiving a worksheet in advance, please request one below - address fields can be filled in using your board’s address if teaching virtually. Select “Grades 1-3 - Pollinator Pals” in the drop-down menu and click “continue”.

No registration needed, just tune in to our YouTube channel at 2 p.m.!

Looking forward to learning about pollinator pals with you!

Have a terrific summer everyone! We will be resuming our Nature in Your Classroom livestreams in the fall. In the meantime, keep your eyes on the TRCA events page for other activities.
